Heating circulator is a temperature control device that uses heat transfer oil as the heat transfer medium, heats the medium through electric heating, and transports it to external equipment through a circulation pump to form a closed-loop heat exchange. It guides the constant temperature liquid in the tank to the second constant temperature field, providing a stable heat source for the supporting instruments. The temperature range usually covers room temperature to 300 ℃. In practical laboratory research and industrial production, heating circulator often need to be used in conjunction with various core equipment. Below is a summary of common supporting equipment and their application scenarios.


1. Reactor - a common matching combination

The reactor is a common supporting equipment for heating circulator. Whether it is a double-layer glass reactor, a stainless steel reactor, or an enamel reactor, a high-temperature heat source can be provided through a heating circulator. The connection method is to connect the inlet and outlet of the heating circulator with the jacket or built-in coil of the reactor, forming a closed circulation loop. The heating circulator delivers the set temperature thermal oil into the jacket, indirectly controlling the reaction temperature of the materials inside the kettle. This combination is applied in processes that require high temperature conditions, such as chemical synthesis, polymerization reactions, and drug crystallization. For flammable and explosive environments, explosion-proof configurations can be selected.


2. Rotary evaporator - auxiliary solvent evaporation and concentration

Rotary evaporator is a commonly used equipment in laboratories for solvent distillation and concentration. The function of the heating circulator is to provide a stable heating source for the evaporation bottle of the rotary evaporator, so that the evaporation bottle is uniformly heated. By adjusting the temperature of the heating circulator, the temperature during the evaporation process can be controlled to meet the evaporation requirements of solvents with different boiling points. The heating circulator can provide a stable high-temperature heat source for the fermentation tank, and controlling the temperature of the fermentation tank is beneficial for the enzyme reaction to proceed. Its fully enclosed circulation system helps to prevent contamination of the heat transfer oil during operation, which is a noteworthy feature for biopharmaceutical scenarios with high cleanliness requirements.
