What equipment can be used with a heating circulator?(Ⅱ)

Aug. 26. 2026

Heating circulator is a temperature control device that uses heat transfer oil as the heat transfer medium, heats the medium through electric heating, and transports it to external equipment through a circulation pump to form a closed-loop heat exchange. It guides the constant temperature liquid in the tank to the second constant temperature field, providing a stable heat source for the supporting instruments. The temperature range usually covers room temperature to 300℃. In practical laboratory research and industrial production, heating circulator often need to be used in conjunction with various core equipment. Below is a summary of common supporting equipment and their application scenarios.

4. Distillation and Extraction Equipment - Temperature Gradient Control

Distillation and extraction are common separation and purification processes in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Heating circulator can be matched with equipment such as molecular distillation, short path distillation, and distillation towers. By setting different heating temperatures, a stable temperature gradient is formed to ensure the stability of the distillation process. In the extraction process, different extraction temperatures are selected based on the characteristics of the solvent, and the external temperature control function of the heating circulator can be used to accelerate the solvent extraction speed. In addition, heating circulator are also used in processes such as drying, concentration, and impregnation of chemical or biological products.

5. Electron microscopes and precision analytical instruments

Precision analytical instruments such as electron microscopes, electron spectrometers, and mass spectrometers often require a stable temperature environment to ensure measurement accuracy during operation. Heating circulator can provide constant temperature conditions for these devices, avoiding the impact of temperature fluctuations on test results. Some models support the optional external PT100 temperature sensor, which can detect and control the temperature of the external system in real time during external circulation.

6. Semiconductor Industry and Electronic Component Testing

In semiconductor chip manufacturing and electronic device testing, some process steps require simulating high-temperature environments to verify product reliability. Heating circulator are suitable for multiple scenarios such as jacketed reactors, chemical pilot reactions, high-temperature distillation, and semiconductor industry. In processes such as wafer testing and high-temperature aging of electronic modules, heating circulator can serve as supporting heat sources to provide stable temperature conditions.
