What equipment can be used with a heating circulator? (Ⅲ)

Heating circulator is a temperature control device that uses heat transfer oil as the heat transfer medium, heats the medium through electric heating, and transports it to external equipment through a circulation pump to form a closed-loop heat exchange. It guides the constant temperature liquid in the tank to the second constant temperature field, providing a stable heat source for the supporting instruments. The temperature range usually covers room temperature to 300℃. In practical laboratory research and industrial production, heating circulator often need to be used in conjunction with various core equipment. Below is a summary of common supporting equipment and their application scenarios.


Several references for selection


There are several aspects worth paying attention to when combining a heaiting circulator with the above equipment:


Medium selection: The heaiting circulator uses thermal oil as the heat carrier. When the working temperature exceeds 200℃, specialized high-temperature heat transfer oil must be used. Select synthetic heat transfer oil (such as silicone oil suitable for temperatures above 250℃) based on the maximum operating temperature, ensuring that the flash point is 20-50℃ higher than the set temperature.


Temperature range: Confirm the temperature range according to the process requirements. The models with room temperature to 200℃ and room temperature to 300℃ have different structures and heating power.


Pump performance: Consider the volume and thermal capacity of the controlled equipment, and select a matching circulating pump flow rate and head. At high temperatures, the viscosity of the heat transfer oil decreases, but the system still requires sufficient head and flow rate.


Safety configuration: High temperature equipment should pay attention to safety functions such as over temperature protection, thermal overload protection, overcurrent protection, and leakage protection.


Control system: Some models support PLC program programming and RS485 communication interface, which can achieve temperature program control and data export.


The heaiting circulator adopts a fully enclosed circulation system, equipped with PID temperature control and multiple protection functions. It is recommended to fully communicate the specific operating parameters with the supplier before selecting, in order to obtain a more suitable configuration plan.
