The double-layer glass reactor is a commonly used equipment in chemical synthesis, pharmaceutical research and development, and material preparation. This article focuses on typical application scenarios of double-layer glass reactor, summarizes common faults and solutions, and helps users improve experimental efficiency.
1、 Power startup related issues
Phenomenon: The indicator light does not light up after connecting the power supply.
Common reasons: Poor contact of external power supply or blown fuse.
Solution: First, a professional electrician checks the power supply and sockets; If the fuse tube is damaged, place the power switch in the OFF position and replace it with a fuse tube of the same specification. The Lengbiao instrument equipment has been designed with anti loosening at the power interface, but it is still recommended to regularly check the plug connection.
Phenomenon: The indicator light is on but the mixing shaft does not rotate.
Reason: Motor malfunction, loose coupling, or rusted mixing shaft.
Solution: Check if the seven pin plug is securely plugged in, clean the dirt on the shaft, and reapply vacuum grease.
2、 Sealing and leakage issues (high incidence)
The vacuum degree of the double-layer glass reactor directly determines the reaction effect. The edge marker instrument adopts a reinforced sealing ring, but after long-term use, attention should still be paid to:
Insufficient vacuum degree: mostly due to aging sealing rings, cracks in glass interfaces, or dry vacuum grease. It is recommended to check the sealing ring every month and evenly apply high vacuum grease to the glass connection.
Leakage point search: Use a spray bottle to fill soap water and spray it on each glass interface. Observe the bubbles to quickly locate them.
Sudden disappearance of vacuum: Immediately stop the machine and check if there are cracks in the kettle body. If there is any damage, contact the supplier to replace the original glass parts.
Mastering the solutions to the common problems mentioned above can significantly reduce the downtime of glass reactor and ensure the safety of operators.
