General Safety Regulations for Summer Laboratories
Special measures for high temperature warning days
When the ambient temperature exceeds 35℃:
Shorten the continuous operation time of the equipment (single operation ≤4h)
Prohibit solvents with boiling points below 60℃ (such as ether and acetone)
Equipped with dry ice emergency kit (to handle sudden refrigeration failures)
Preventive maintenance of pre equipment components
Refrigerant pressure inspection, high pressure ≤1.8MPa, low pressure ≥0.3MPa
Circulating pipeline inspection, no crystallization, discoloration or abnormal expansion
Electrical wiring inspection, insulation resistance>5MΩ
Emergency response prompt:
When there is a leakage of heat transfer oil or refrigerant splashing,
1. Immediately activate the ventilation system
2. Cut off the main power supply of the equipment
3. Cover the leakage point with inert absorbent cotton (no water flushing!)
4. Contact professional hazardous chemical disposal institutions
This guide is applicable to scenarios such as pharmaceuticals, chemical engineering, and university research and development. Regular implementation can reduce the risk of equipment failure by 80% during high temperature seasons. It is recommended that laboratory administrators print and post it in the equipment operation area.
