Common faults of centrifuges

Common faults of centrifuges.

After power on, the motor does not rotate.

Firstly, inspect the power cord, plug, and socket. Secondly, inspect the band switch or rheostat. If it is damaged or disconnected, it is necessary to replace the damaged components and re solder the wiring. Finally, check if the motor field coil is disconnected or open circuit.

Unable to reach rated speed.

Firstly, inspect the bearings. If the bearings are damaged, replace them. If there is a lack of oil or too much dirt inside the bearings, clean the bearings and add lubricating grease. Check if the surface of the commutator is flat. If the surface is uneven, use sandpaper to polish it. If the contact is poor, use fine sandpaper to polish its parts. The brush is damaged and needs to be replaced. Finally, check if there is a local short circuit or ground connection in the magnetic field coil or if there is a local short circuit or open circuit in the rotor coil.

Intense vibration and loud noise.

Check if the machine is level, check if the bearings are damaged or bent, and if the machine cover is deformed or positioned incorrectly, causing friction.

When the weather is cold, the low speed gear cannot be used.

The lubricating oil solidifies or deteriorates, dries up, and sticks. It can be cleaned and re oiled.
